This single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon from Beckstoffer’s Dr. Crane Vineyard features the darker fruit & spice flavors that many winemakers struggle to capture from the St. Helena AVA.  Baking spices, wet gravel, and cocoa powder kick off the nose of this famous terroir. Structured tannins complement the round mouthfeel, highlighting flavors of black cherry, violet, and soft vanilla. We recommend decanting upon opening.

VINEYARDS: 100% Beckstoffer’s Dr. Crane

FERMENTATION: Whole-berry fermentation in stainless steel. Pumped over twice daily, totaling 24 days of maceration.

AGING/COOPERAGE: 22 months in 90% new French oak barrels.
