2022 NOMAD Las Piedras Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

This single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon from Beckstoffer’s Las Piedras Vineyard shows the liveliest characters & brightest red fruit of all the Heritage Vineyards.  Aromas of strawberry rhubarb pie, subtle French vanilla, violet, and strawberry parfait lead to intense flavors of red currant and black cherry on the palate. Smooth, soft cedar notes compliment the full, round palate, showing integrated tannin structure. We recommend decanting upon opening.

VINEYARDS: 100% Beckstoffer’s Las Piedras.

FERMENTATION: Whole-berry fermentation in stainless steel. Pumped over twice daily, totaling 24 days of maceration.

AGING/COOPERAGE: 22 months in 90% new French oak barrels
