The 2021 vintage has produced some of the finest Cabernet Sauvignon of the last decade. This single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon from Beckstoffer’s Las Piedras Vineyard is certainly no exception and shows the liveliest characters & brightest red fruit of all the Heritage Vineyards.  Aromas of strawberry rhubarb pie, subtle French vanilla, violet, and strawberry parfait lead to intense flavors of red currant and black cherry on the palate. Smooth, soft cedar notes compliment the full, round palate, showing integrated tannin structure. We recommend decanting upon opening.

VINEYARDS: 100% Beckstoffer’s Las Piedras.

FERMENTATION: Whole-berry fermentation in stainless steel. Pumped over twice daily, totaling 24 days of maceration.

AGING/COOPERAGE: 22 months in 90% new French oak barrels
