This single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon from Beckstoffer’s Missouri Hopper Vineyard highlights the terroir in the Oakville AVA and is the southernmost of the Heritage Vineyards. Showcasing the darker characteristics of this varietal, the nose features elements of earth, damp soil, & mushroom. Fresh blackberry, blueberry pie, & ripe strawberry present on the palate, while smooth, well-framed tannins & soft cedar contribute to a long & elegant finish. We recommend decanting upon opening.

VINEYARDS: 100% Beckstoffer’s Missouri Hopper

FERMENTATION: Whole-berry fermentation in stainless steel. Pumped over twice daily, totaling 24 days of maceration.

AGING/COOPERAGE: 22 months in 90% new French oak barrels.
