Selected from some of Napa Valley’s most preferred vineyards of Cabernet Sauvignon, this vintage showcases bright, red currant and peppercorn with a background of sandalwood. The palate offers flavors of concentrated black cherry, hints of cherry pie, and rich toffee that finish on a soft note of mocha. Fine, integrated tannins and balanced acidity suggest fantastic age ability in a wine that simultaneously drinks beautifully upon release.
VINEYARDS: 50% Hanna Vineyard, 40% Juliana Vineyard, & 10% Moynier Vineyard.
FERMENTATION: Whole-berry fermentation in stainless steel fermenters with wet cap immersion, totaling 26 days of extended maceration.
AGING/COOPERAGE: 22 months in 65% new French oak barrels.
