Crafted from dry-farmed, organic, head-trained Cabernet Sauvignon vines planted in 1968, this
inaugural release from Montecillo honors our estate's rich history and legacy. The nose is
beautifully aromatic, featuring complex layers of blackcurrants, violets, sage, and tobacco. On
the palate, it is full-bodied with silky tannins and vibrant acidity, revealing flavors of dark
cherries, tea leaves, pine needles, and spices.
